Dearest Granny,

How are you getting on? I am exuberant to see you this summer. I miss your tender and gentle smile, your caring eyes the affectionate bear hug and the aroma of your delicious food.

You always dote on me with my favourite chocalate cookies, strawberry ice-cream, apple pies and healthy snacks. I still treasure till today the birth gemstone you bought for me when I was born. You always prepare home made cookies and orange juice when you know I am coming.

During my younger days, I was always mischievous but you accepted me. My school shoes were easily worn out and had thorns and holes on them. You always helped me to mend my shoes despite it being a very difficult task to do. Whenever my mother needed to stay at the office late at night, you come round to my house to baby-sit me and tell me bedtime stories. Whenever I fell sick, you gave me your warm care. You took care of me the whole night though you were very tired.

I will remember your affectionate care and kind eyes forever. I will repay your kindness when I grow up.
