To Grandpa

Dear grandpa I miss the days that you were with me. Those days were the happiest days of my lives. I remembered when I was young and bullied by my brother and you stood up for me. When I was sad you comforted me. You were like my guardian angle; my life was lighted up by you.

From you, I learnt what a family was for. It showers you with care and concern. Sadly you were diagnosed to be senile. One fine day you were lost, and all the family members panicked.

Suddenly there was a phone call from the Great World City, a place in Singapore. Luckily a kind man found you, and you were safe and sound.

From then on, the whole family paid more attention to you and our friends working at the coffee shop would call my parents if they see walking around by yourself.

Things became worse. After a few days you could not even recognize my father from my uncle. Soon, every now and then, you need to go to the hospital. The thing we feared came. You were in coma in the ICU, and fmally you died at the age of 82.
