Terence Han (Entry #929)
Dear Grandma,
I am ever so thankful about the love you have for me. Even though you had a hard life, you persevered on. Just when your life was starting to stabilize, disaster knocked on the door. At the tender age of six the Japanese came and stole away motherly love from you.
You did not have your mum to clean your wound when you fell and grazed your knee. You had no one to comfort you when you got scolded. Yet, you survived despite the odds against you. At the age of 18, you married grandpa and gave birth to six children.
Even till now, you still help me in competitions and when I come to visit you during the weekends, you would prepare a sumptuous meal for me.
Grandma, you are the best ever!!!
From your Grandson, Terence Han
