Grandma, now you are in Heaven, but I still love you. You always bought for me a lot of crackers and biscuit. I keep dreaming about you that when I was a little boy and you were so kind and you cared about us too.

You are very old now and I must take care of you. We all still love you and you please come back and meet us again. You are happy to meet you and we still miss you.

I remember my first day at school – sixty-six years ago. There were no pre-school or kindergarten classes where I lived.

My three elder sisters and I piled into a riskshaw pulled along by an old Chinese man. When we reached school, I had to join the group of new Standard One pupils. My sisters lined up in their own classes happily.

You officially came into this world at 2.11 am on 26 May 2000. It was the happiest and most memorable moment of my life and I will always remember it.

Being a grandma brings a great sense of contentment, fulfilment, gratification and satisfaction. Thank you for giving me all these wonderful feelings.
