I am not as lucky as some of my friends whose grandparents are staying together or staying within the same country. My parents are from our neighbour country Malaysia where my grandparents are still living there. Malaysia is also the country that my grandparents were born. Although both of my grandfathers have passed away when I was born, it is still a blessing to see my healthy grandmothers around.
I am writing this to my maternal side grandmother. Although sh’s not around anymore, she will always stay in my family’s heart.
My grandmother’s name is Ngan Ah Hon. She lives in Pasir Ris. She is kind, helpful and she always makes us laugh. She is also currently looking after my younger sister, who is only about 8 months old.
Hi! My grandmother’s name is ‘Sng Siew Mog’. She is ‘74’ years old. We are not so close to each other because we don’t live together. We don’t often meet each other.
I am lucky to live with my grandmum.. .I remember when I was a toddler,she changes my diapers,bathe me and always told me stories [example about my late granddad,world war and more] She cooks delicious food ..Especially her curry… Ooo la la… Yummy! She dotes on me always as Jam the youngest among all my cousin.
Even though one of my grandparents had passed away, I still remember the times we had together…

I am going to introduce my grandmother. Her name is Lim Kiat. She is now 75 years old. To me, she is a great cook. Every year, my family and I will go to her house and celebrate Chinese New Year.
Today, I heard that there is a coir petition going on about our memories with my grandparents. I wan to share what my grandmother had shared with me.
If there is a Nobel Prize equivalent to be presented for The Greatest Grand Parents, l am sure my Grandmother will be one of the nominees. Grandma’s love is always unconditional.
